Free and Easy- Day 31

Last lecture ended the day before. We were given free and easy day where we can do last minute shopping, catch up on our sleep and etc. We thought of doing last minute shopping before going back to Singapore. So, Jiali, Diyanah, Yu Haw, Houng Sheng, Eliza, Yu Chuan and I decided to go to Bu Xing Jie to shop at different shopping mall.

Met at the hostel lobby at 11.30pm and the boys felt like taking bus while we girls decided to take cab as it was raining. Did scissors paper stone and if the girls lost, all of us will be taking cab. Ultimately, the girls lost. Took two cabs and the taxi fare was around RMB 25.

Headed to Dicos to have our lunch before going shopping. Dicos was similar to our KFC in Singapore. I ate the seaweed soup and harajuku pudding. Fantastic!!!

This was where we headed for lunch!
My nicest Seaweed soup. Plus the cool weather, soup is the best solution.

Headed to our first destination: Meterbonswe!

We were stuck in the shop for an hour or so as the three guys had a hard time choosing their pair of jeans. The girls had a hard time convincing Houng Sheng to buy a new pair of jeans so that he would look less uncle. Managed to persuade Yu Haw to buy the leather jacket that cost RMB 450. The jacket really looked nice on him albeit he can't wear that often back in Singapore. Yu Chuan was the easiest one to pacify him to buy the jeans. Since the winter collection was out, I did not manage to find any short sleeve shirt to buy for my family back at home. Those guys proven us wrong about shopping. They did the worst job than girls. They spent more than hour only in one shop. Good grievance! Ultimately, they looked nice with the help of us. :) Window shopping here and there but there's nothing that was up to my taste.

The two guys that came in and out from the fitting room to try the suitable jeans.
The two guys still busy trying their new pair of jeans. While for this guy, within minutes, he's done!

Then, our dearest Houng Sheng was famished. He wanted to have an early dinner but it was only 4pm. Decided on Starbucks Coffee to chilled around and have coffee before our dinner.

My iced green latte doesn't seemed to be green at all. With non fat base of course.
Having the fun time in my life. Eating FRUITS! :)
No wonder everyone named him Mr Cute. see the way his smile? -___-
Chilling in starbucks coffee.

Shopped at the departmental store where I could find most of the items for my family members. It wasn't a long list of souveniers but buying six different items at one departmental store was not that bad, right? :/
The rest of them dispersed to have fun or looking around. Showed Dee an Elle Shirt for her brothers which was certainly nice and she managed to buy it for both of them. Sweet!

Dinner time! Korean time!
Brought the three guys to the korean BBQ where previously the girls had gone there during the first week in Wuhan. They ate till their hearts content and reminded them over and over again that there would be wastage charge for leftover foods that weighed more than 200gm. Knowing the guys, they managed to finish up everything that they took. We surrendered halfway as we were absolutely full.
The two king plus one concubine.
The belles plus one err hunk. okay.
Eliza and I doing our own things. See our scrumptious meal???
Went over to the flea market after dinner. We did not manage to conquer the whole flea market as it was enormous. Feared to get fined again, we left halfway and took cab back to our hostel. We were one minute earlier than the curfew time though!

Personal Reflection: Shopping with the guys was a disastrous decision making! Opps, kidding! It was a good experienced for me. Not that I expect much from them, but they did put a smile on my face while shopping. Funny bunch of friends and certainly, I'm going to miss that.

The Korean buffet was similar to any buffet in Singapore. There's wastage fee for more than 200gm and you can eat all you can within 2 hours. I like being the fact that they restrict the food limits as in developing countries such as Africa and India, they had trouble to put their foods on the table. As for us, throwing excess foods is our forte.
