When our throats started to get itch- Day 18

Morning lesson was pretty norm like no other days and we did Project Cost during our PM. It was a short topic, though. Class dismissed early and we were given the afternoon off to work on our blogging and the remaining project. Well, I have been trying to logging in to internet but to no avail. My internet port decided not to let me in for quite some time. Annoying, i agreed!

Our throat started to get itch after dinner. 10 of us felt like brushing our singing skills so we decided to go to KTV. We had an express dinner in Macdonald after which we made our down to the KTV. The KTV was situated a few stalls away from Macdonald. The rest were eating meals such as Filet o Fish, Teppanyaki Burger and more. I ate one ice cream cone for my dinner as I'm craving for one and it has the lowest fat content as compared to those burgers.

10 of us!

When entering the KTV, I was somewhat stunned that the place was huge and our room was extremely big. Big enough to cater 10 of us. The lift stated that the maximum mass was 1000kg and it can fit 13 persons. But it seems like only about 5-6 people can take the lift at one go. Mind you, the total mass of 5-6 people does not even exceed 1000kg.

Jiali excited over the place!

See their reaction once they held on to the mike?

Eudora and Liang Xun busy choosing for songs!

Come on Girls! dance Nobody!

Engross looking at the lyric or the hunk?

Without further ado, we started to choose various genres of songs and Eliza called the shot. I was forced to sing Tong Hua entirely and thankfully, I managed to remember the whole song. We passed the mikes around so that everyone will get a chance to scream their lungs out.

We paid 480 RMB in total inclusive of the foods and drinks that we ordered. If converted back in Singapore currency, each person paid a total of $9.60 and it's very cheap! We fully utilised our time as we had to be back before 10pm. We sure had fun together and I bet the girls had fun dancing as well! We have a mixture of songs such as Kpop, Chinese and English songs. The girls had to dance to Nobody by Wondergirls. We decided to do it as it can be a practice to our cultural performance that will be on the last week of our stay in Wuhan.

We rushed back as the back gate was locked. So we have to walk faster in order not to surpass the curfew time less get fines from Mr Chia. We reached on time but we were closer to get our first fine. It was an enjoyable night that we decided to do it again before going back to Singapore.

Reflection: I know I should stay away from going to such places but going in a big group and making sure that we would not create any trouble made us to be extra wary. We are representing Ngee Ann poly from Singapore so we make sure that we would not stir any trouble as it will jeopardize the reputation of our school and of course our nation as well.

The incident that happened to one of the Singapore poly's student made us to be on our guard. Thanked god, nothing happened to us as we had made ourselved clear before entering the KTV lounge. It was pretty a sad story for the Singaporean student but on contrary, he may create trouble when he was drunk. And worst, he did not go with a large group. Instead, he chose to stay alone after his friend went back.

We were supposed to be early but due to the gate near to our hostel was locked, we had to make one big turn. We were actually late by 1-2 minutes and we knew that we going to have a hard time from Mr Chia. But thanked god that Mr Chia let us off as he listened to our explanation. I would not want to get fine for being late.
